Inspired by different journeys across oceans and along rivers, Sãgara is a sonorous whirlpool that treads water between ambient soundscapes and electronic grooves.

Built upon the rhythmic motor of a Filipino long-tail boat, Sampan sets off into choppy seas with colourful rave-wise sounds lapping at the side of the vessel. Amidst moonlit waves, Shima submerges the listener in turbulent tidal currents before entering a volatile underwater vortex. Drifting along the banks of the Thames we encounter the swaying ambience of Shanty, wherein a recording of 4 old men singing Lowlands Away can be heard beneath the surface. Elsewhere Shokushu emerges out of the mythical ocean mist to stimulate the senses with its slippery sonic tentacles, coiling around the ears with its strange and sadistic dance.
